Famous Women in Science and Mathematics

Someone said to me recently that there just weren't very many women who'd made a difference in science and mathematics, and asked why I thought that was.

There were many sites I brought up to refute that person's claim, but this is a good one to get a basic overview, and see the biographies of many women throughout history who have made a huge impact in the areas of science, mathematics, and medicine.
