A Mount Vernon, Ohio teacher was unanimously fired by the Mount Vernon school board this past Friday after he apparently "branded" several students with a high-frequency generator with the sign of the cross. He claims he was simply demonstrating the tool and that the symbol was not a cross, but rather an "X."
