• Hire others to do your plowing. Once you've got 10 neighbours, you can do this. It results in 15 coins per square cost instead of 20 and also gives you XP (experience points) without your having to do the work.
• Zoom in to see harvests clearer if you're having trouble with a screen filled with comments about the harvests you've already taken in
• Be careful about what you buy! Selling price for items is much lower than buying price. A 70,000 small farm house sells for only 2100 coins!
• Some items (such as hay bales) give you experience points so they can be a good investment.
