The red carpet lately has been filled with these ruffled designer dresses. While I believe a fabulous look for some women, this may be a look that suits certain body types and shapes. Not everyone can get away with this look but it is surely a fashion trend for this season. Lucy Liu has recently been seen in a Valentino Couture in black with a plunging neckline and ruffle after ruffle of black lace fabric. A large black lace bow sits on the tummy of the dress. This look is fabulous for Lucy Liu but there are not many that could pull it off in the way she does. Charlize Theron has been seen in Versace Atelier recently on the red carpet. The dress also has a plunging neckline but in sparkling gold, and the dress flows out at the top of the thigh into sparkling ruffles starting in an olive flowing down into darker shades and black. This is fine work by Versace. And Monica Bellucci seen in Dior by John Galliano in a black ruffled dress. All of these women look fabulous in this ruffled fashion trend.
