There's an old saying, "you get what you pay for." So, I'm glad someone made the point about the wonders of fast food. Imagine this, "oh, hi, have you met my little Johnny? Yes, he is a big boy. Well, he is big for his size, but, its only baby fat. I'm sure he'll out grow it. Stop up here at McDonald's. (at the drive-up window): "Nine 99c specials please, four strawberry milk shakes, and 4 orders of fries, and super-size them please. Johnny's been a good boy this week, and, I promised him he could have his favorite meal, and, I can use the money I'm saving to buy more gas. That way I can drive him to school, and buy him a new couch to sit on. He loves sitting on the couch and playing videos. Oh, he'll be 12 in a month, and he's starting to, finally, fill out............ Well, you, can see where this is going. And, the above is what fast food can do for your kid. But, its just not fast food, its video games, television, computers, etc.---------- It's the loss of real experiences -- like walking, playing (outside with other real people), enjoying physical activity. Well, there's my two cents.... And, me, I'm headed for Carl's Jr............ Enjoy your weekend!
