Fat cell breakthrough could help fight obesity, researchers say

There has been yet another potential breakthrough in the battle against flab, with a Swedish study finding that each year, 10 per cent of an adult human fat cells die and are replaced by new ones. Many researchers have long thought that fat cells in adult humans die and are replaced, but they did not know how long this process took.
