FDA Plans to Examine Scope of Complaints About Lasik

The FDA said that most people are probably happy with the results, but, there have been problems. The FDA is looking at ways to better educate the public about what laser surgery is all about.
"But clearly there is a group that is not satisfied and do not get the kind of results that they expect. What we're really trying to do is figure out what that number is," said Daniel G. Schultz, director of the FDA's Center for Devices and Radiological Health.
