Finding a Game Idea

Finding a Game Idea

Whether it's your first game or your new game, before you start, you need to find a clever idea to start. I'm sure you found yourself thinking for days to find a game idea. I even saw people asking for game ideas on gaming forums. Some independent game makers even post polls on their websites to learn the expectation of their fans.

For me, finding a game idea is simpler than those steps above. I do not wait for days to find a great idea. I just sit down for a moment and dream. Dream what kind of a game I would love to play. Before going too advanced from my limits, I dream the best game I can make.

If you make what would you like to play, you will work on the game with more passion and joy so it will make the final product better than "fan wanted" or "idea given by someone else" games. Hopefully it will sell more and help your prestige to pile up ;)

It's time to dream if you haven't done it before. It's all about dreaming anyway. It's enjoyful too, the best part of our job!

I wish you happy dreams and more success!
