Fire Your Shrink, Spend More Time With Animals
posted March 13, 2007 - 6:31pmSome days, “the Mondays” last all the way through Thursday. If you’re feeling worn out, cynical, disgusted, or a combination of all three, you may need a dose of cute overload. Cute overload involves the medicinal benefits of seeing various critters doing things that make you go, “Awww…!”. Cats in mini sleeping bags, a goat catching a snowflake on its tongue, a baby panda caught in a tree, hamsters snuggling, tiny field mice peeking out of hollow tennis balls, plus lots of dogs, bunnies, birds, and sundry other animals, both pets and wildlife. Check it out for some quick stress relief!
Shameless animal plug: if you love animals, and have the necessary patience to bring one into your heart and home, please consider adopting a pet from your local shelter, or check out www.petfinder.com. By adopting from a shelter, you may literally be saving a life.
