One interesting way to teach people and give people the confidence in helping or responding during accidents or emergencies is by giving them a simulated case.

A plain lecture on first aid and emergency care may not be enough since it is really different when you are really there in the actual event.

Somehow people will be affected by the sitution and most often would not be able to perform well when an actual emergency occurs.

During first aid training it would be advisable to give a simulated emergency scenario for first aid trainees. Though its still very far from the actual event but giving them emergency situations with victims would somehow give them confidence when the actual emergency occurs.
