First Job

I have always been an entrepreneur since I can remember. I have operated my own lawn mowing business for three years in a row. Now I am 15 and can legally get an actual job, the thing I am wondering about is should I focus on working online and having fun while doing so, or work at my local McDonalds for $8.50 an hour doing some repetitive and boring tasks all day? With working online I can spend my time making websites and blogs, but there is no guaranteed income. So I am unsure because I know that many people arent taking proper advantage of the web based job market. I would love to get some feedback as to what you think I should do, or any or ways of generating income from a solely web based business or website. Also I am interested in finding out how much money other people have made from googles Adsense program because I have yet to make a cent from this site or my other Halloween site http://halloweenyard.blogspot.com/.

Welcome Joshb

Josh welcome to Xomba. A little premature about the making money comment since you have only been a member for what 2 hours? My advice would be concentrate on getting good grades in school for now, and learning, and worry about working say over the summer. I then would get a job at McDonald's. Working with coworkers in person will be a wonderful learning experience, since working with actual customers will teach you patience, and you will earn more money there then at Xomba.

School first.

@ Joshb ..Welcome To Xomba...

Great to see your spirit. What an awesome addition you are to this community.
I would suggest that you take the advice of Wagen Load.....Concentrate on school. You must have a good education. Then work at a McDonalds or internship at a company that interests you. There is many more rewards to your life than money. You learn team work, endurance, patience, responsibility, and the pride that comes with doing a job well. Plus the benefit of being with your peers in completing a job together. You will build life long relationships with people.
Then on top of that, post to your hearts content here on Xomba. Show us your writings and share what you have on your heart.
The money part of Xomba comes with a lot of time, a lot of posting, and a lot of patience. I posted many articles the first few days but did not see any "cents" until the second week I was a member. It has continued to grow in amount each week, but I work at it continually.
Again, glad to see you join.
