The flat belly diet seems to be the latest attempt to part slimmers from their money. The flat belly diet is based upon the idea that certain sorts of fats, if eaten, (MUFAs, or mono unsaturated fatty acids) help you to lose weight.
While MUFAs (such as olive oil) are indeed better for you than some other fats, this isn't going to make your belly flatter.
With the weather heating up, flat stomachs will soon be fully back in vogue. That's not so much a diet as an entire lifestyle change. Again, whatever gains come from this are coming from simply eating less than previously. The flat belly diet won't whatever they tell you, give you a flatter belly or a faster weight loss than absolutely any other method of reduced calorie intake.
And a six pack will only be achieved by exercising. Sorry, but there it is.
