Anushka Shetty was born as Maha Lakshmi in Mangalore, Karnataka on November 7th 1981 was always unaware of her destination until her curves & looks were introduced as hotness in filmdom.

Anushka, a graduate in Computer applications never had any big ambition of being placed in a repete Software firm and took up what she does best for a profession. She practiced Yoga with the famous Yoga master Bharat Takur [ Actress Bhumika's Husband ] and found herself training children as a Yoga professional.

Anushka was introduced to filmdom by director Puri Jagannadh as a vamp opposite Nagarjuna in Super and was well received by everyone paving a long way to her destination. Although being appreciated for her impeccable acting skills, Anusha was famous only for her onscreen hotness with lot of skin show besides her dancing & seductive flaunting skills.

The Glam Queen who started off her career with Super appeared in films like Mahanandi, Vikramarkudu, Stalin, Rendu (tamil), Astram, Lakshyam, Don, Okka Magadu, Swagatham, Baladur, Souryam, Chintakayala Ravi and is yet to be seen in Arundhati & Billa.
