Florida State Food Stamp Program

The Florida Department of Children and Families offers food stamps to qualifying individuals that live in the state of Florida and are U.S. citizens or are qualified non-citizens.

The Florida food stamp program allows the purchase of food items only. Non-food items such as tobacco, alcohol, household cleaning products, paper products, soap, and personal hygiene products cannot be purchased using food stamps.

Visit HERE to apply immediately for food stamps. Click on the center button that says "Apply for Benefits."

For information on food stamp programs in other states, click HERE to visit the Federal Food Stamp Program site with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. This new program is called SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program).

Click on the Florida Food Stamp Fact Sheet link below for more information about the Florida Food Stamp Program including frequently asked questions, qualifying information and how the food stamp funds are distributed.
