Michael Hurley is a singer-songwriter who's been making his own kind of music--and career--since the 1960s. He's made more than 20 albums over the years, most of which are known only to a core of loyal fames.

Now he's being heard by a new, younger audience thanks to having a new album being released on Devendra Banhart's record label.

Michael Hurley drives a 1973 Dodge Coronet station wagon, and is probably known best for a 1975 album he did with the Holy Modal Rounders.
