Folsom held its 15th annual Gourd & Arts Festival on the traditional last weekend of September this year of 2009. The music was worth the meager $5.00 entrance fee if you were in the mood to chill, tap a foot, nod, and smile. Some of the featured musical entertainment included Sambandha playing a fine mixture of world fusion music, Mamadou and Vanessa Sidibe playing West African music from the Wassoulou region of Mali, and Huckleberry (a.k.a. David Rainwater) playing some fun, fancy fiddling
