Foolish Wannabe Zachary Busso Fakes Gang Assault

It is often said that stupid is as stupid does. At least that's what Forrest's mama used to say. And in 19 year old, Zachary Busso's case that adage holds true.

Busso, rejected by his girlfriend and unable to fit in well with his peers, chose to fabricate a gang related assault on himself.

Calling a friends father. Zachary claimed he had been shot 4 times. Upon examination it appeared that his wounds were self inflicted. Not only that, but they were caused by a BB gun.

After being pressured by the authorities Busso finally admitted he had staged the entire thing.

Local news reports that Mr. Busso had a drug abuse problem. And judging by this painful cry for acceptance, it is no small wonder.

The only question I have in this situation is where the hell is Zachary Busso's Father and Mother. Who raised this man-boy into this lifestyle. Who is helping him now?

Drugs make people do weird things

Parenting can only do so much. In this individual's case, drugs can undo years of good parenting. The cynic in me would rather that he used something with a little more "oomph" than a BB gun. The optimist in me hopes this little charade means that he bottomed out and has a halfway decent chance at a successful rehab. Either way, I hope this story has a happy ending. DO YOU HAVE THE WRITE STUFF?
