FIFA – The federation of international Football Association is the highest law making body responsible for making and upholding the existing law of the game of football.
The body has its headquarters in Zurich, Switzerland/ and is responsible for all affairs relating to football.
All football federations, confederations, clubs, are affiliated with FIFA and they all abide by its statute and laws.
The highest law making body of the game is preside over by a democratically elected president, vice – president, and a secretary – general, and other important members of staff.
Likewise, the confederations are responsible for organizing football related issues at the continental level while still keeping the rules made by FIFA.
The federation are responsible to uphold football matters in different countries of the world. Therefore, the authority saddled with football matters are in stages all defending the laws and statute of the highest rule making body which consist of members from all federations.
