For Civil War buffs -- a "MUST SITE"

If you love Civil War history, this is as good as it gets: a site maintained by the University of Virginia, and titled "The Valley of the Shadow."

"The Valley of the Shadow: Two Communities in the American Civil War. This thoughtful site provides access to thousands of primary resources AND online lesson plans with student activity pages that provide the high-quality scaffolding critical to good instruction."

Highly recommended!
