With the 'Big 3' Holidays right around the corner, food is one of the things we start thinking about. That big Thanksgiving dinner of turkey, dressing and all the trimming, Christmas ham and yummy desserts and then there's all the New Year's Eve parties that are sure to have delectable and decadent desserts. When we think about all the delicious food we'll be gorging on, we also think about all the weight will pack on too.
There are four foods that that will help you lose weight after the Holiday eating binge or maybe you want to shed a few pounds before the Holidays arrive so you'll look your best in your new Holiday dress. Either way, add these four food to your daily diet and you will be able to lose weight and keep it off.
Food number one is eggs. Eating protein packed eggs for breakfast keeps you fuller longer, helping you to consume fewer calories throughout the day.
Food number two is low fat dairy products. Eating 3 servings of low fat dairy products activates your body's fat burning mechanisms and helps your body burn more calories throughout the day. Adding more low fat dairy food to your diet helps get rid of abdominal fat quicker also.
Food number three is high fiber foods like beans, lentils, fresh vegetables and whole grain foods. Foods that are high in fiber take longer to digest after you've eaten them so you fell fuller longer. High fiber foods also help curb your cravings for other foods.
Food number four is fish. Fish is not only good for you, it's best source of filling protein. Eating fish for lunch will help you consume fewer calories at supper so you will lose weight.
These four foods will help you lose weight without even dieting, and once you've lost the pre-Holiday or post-Holiday weight, these foods will help you keep it off.
