Last.fm is just like listening to the radio, but you get to choose your music.

Pandora

Another similar site to Last.fm is called Pandora (www.pandora.com). You listen to songs you are interested in and create your own channel where songs that are similar to your preferences in music will play for you.

I know people who listen to free music all day at Pandora while they're working.
