Four Reasons I Love to Work at Home

Their names are Jacob, Corissa, Kyle and Cheyenne. They are 12, 11, five, and four years respectively. It doesn't matter how much money I make or how many promotions I get. What matters is I am home for their every need, their every special success, their every scrape on the knee, and everything in between.

I can stay up all night with a sick child and know that the next day I can still be around to make them comfortable, find their favorite TV shows or get their favorite drink. I am able to help with the homework, solve a personality problem, or just greet them when they come home from school.

I get to see their groggy faces first thing in the morning and help them brush their pearly whites in the evening. I can take them to the park in the middle of the afternoon and stay outside late looking at the stars.

Kyle sits on my lap while I answer emails or place my ads. And Cheyenne is sitting by my side while I make my phonecalls. Jacob and Corissa help me fill out postcards and deliver flyers.

So will I ever be a millionaire working out of my home? I don't really know. I don't know if I'll ever get to that point in my business career. But one thing is certain. I am more blessed than any CEO in the corporate world.
