Fox Cancels "Mad TV"

The long-running sketch show "Mad TV" is being cancelled, according to an article in Daily Variety. "Mad TV" airs late on Saturday nights and is closing up shop after 14 seasons.

The show had come close to being cancelled in recent years, but Fox confirmed on Wednesday that this season would be its last. The producers are seeking to keep the show alive on another network, however. Fox recently cancelled the animated show "King of the Hill," which will be reappearing on ABC.
