Free Lose Weight Program - DIY Style

Losing weight can be one of the hardest things you do.  Lose Weight Programs are everywhere, making it sound like such an easy task.  Drop 50 pounds in one month!  Like it will just fall off.  Well, the reality is, that it took you a while to pack on this weight, so you can't expect your body to let go of it overnight.

In order to have it drop off that fast, you will not feel good, or have much energy.  The truth is, that we are creatures of habit.  What you need to do is slowly change the habit.  Reasearch shows that it takes 21 days to start or break a habit, so allow yourself some time for changes

Many of the lose weight programs out there, want you to completely change how you live and eat, you cannot do this too fast, unless it is some kind of medical emergency.  You need to pick a few areas at a time, and get used to them before changing something else in order for these to become lifestyle changes.

After recording what you eat and drink for a week, find some routine meals, and start picking on them.  Maybe start with lunch.  Now take a close look at your brand of bread, look on the package for the calorie count.  Now see if you can find a brand of bread with a few calories less and switch it out.  Then take your cheese and switch it for low fat (there are some good tasting low fat dairy products out there you just have to find one that you like and will eat).

Do this with your lunch and your snacks, don't give them up, just change their brand and see how many calories you can save in a day.  It takes 3500 calories to lose one pound.  So if you can find 500 calories in one day, then you will lose a pound a week, without any real effort.  Throw some exercise in there and you are styling!  Creat your own lose weight program and you will stick to it, and it was FREE.  More weight loss tips
