A Friendship that was Meant to be!

A Friendship that was Meant to be!

I wrote this about a dear friend that I met when going to college. Her name at the time was Ms Rhonda Cupp.

One day I met a beautiful lady soon to become a great friend.  We talked–we laughed–we were surprised at how much we had in common.  Although, we had no intention of becoming friends we soon realized that we had no choice; it was destiny that we meet and we had to become good friends.

Although the lady and I are still friends, we no longer get to see one another and only stay intouch by email and an occasional card for the last couple of years.  Still our friendship remains and is true.  I feel sure that our friendship will endure for all time.

One never knows how are when he/she will meet a new and good friend.  That one also never knows how good friends they will become.  I know that on this particular day I met a wonderful friend.  I also know that we will remain true friends until the end.

Now even my wife and Rhonda are friends as well.  Isn’t life strange sometimes?

Yes it is.  My wife was a little jealous of her until she met her, and she took up with her even more quickly than Idid.  Carolyn told me one time, "If I die you woudl just go over there and marry Ms. Cupp."  I replied that I didn't think her boyfriend would like that.  Now she has no boy friend, but that's because they got married.  And in Hawaii.  Talk about A Lucky Lady!
