Frighteningly Fun & Free Flash Games for Halloween
posted October 21, 2009 - 5:22am
Hello gamers! Halloween is just around the corner. Maybe you'd like some Halloween games to play? I've picked out a few frighteningly fun flash games that I enjoy, and I hope you will, too. Many of these are the flash version of downloadable games, but these
version are totally free and don't require any downloading. Here's my playlist...

Fishdom Spooky Splash is a match 3 game, which has you matching tiles to earn cash, which you then use to decorate Halloween themed fish tanks.

The Jolly Gang's Spooky Adventure is a humorous point and click adventure game, kind of like Monkey Island. Don't let the graphics fool you – the humor is geared towards adults.

Mystery Case Files: Madame Fate is a creepy hidden object game. When a carnival gypsy views murder in her crystal ball, she asks you to investigate. What follows is a grim series of ghaustly carnival crimes.

Midnight Mysteries: The Edgar Allan Poe Conspiracy is a spooky (and beautiful) hidden object game that has you helping Poe's ghost to solve a murder.

Hidden Secrets: The Nightmare is a disturbing adventure game that has you restoring your memories after a brutal attack.

Daycare Nightmare is an original time management game, which has you playing as a babysitter to literal little monsters.

You're probably sick of hearing me say how awesome this game is, but it's really awesome! You defend against a zombie attack with gardening tools. It's a strategy game. You have to click the “play” button to start playing.

Happy Halloween!

Downloading Flash
I purposely haven't downloaded Flash to prevent me becoming hooked on these sort of games. That said, after reading this I was really tempted. I've an addiction problem and once, when my daughter was away for a weekend, spent most of it - apart from very quick showers - very quick - playing Wolfenstein. The game was in no way indicative of me as an individual - me=pacifist, anti gun | Wolfenstein = war loving gun toting - but the escapism was too much to resist. A virtual abandonment of principles felt good. In the end (and this was at a time when I had no mouse skills) I managed to complete the tasks but when Adolf Hitler confronted me I lost it all and had to make myself - seriously disallow myself - not start all over again... see what I mean?
Any tips for the Edgar Alan Poe game? P-L-E-A-S-E don't tell me!

Aaah Man! I'm in trouble now
I love these kind of games. They break up the data entry and invoicing monotony. However, I do tend to get caught up in the game and forget to go back to the data entry and invoicing. : )
