From a Newbie - My Two Weeks in Xomba (Had Never Been More Rewarding - I Feel The Urge to Write)

To tell you the truth I was attracted to Xomba by the punch line "Show And Tell Has Never Been So Rewarding" and obviously in pursuit of rewards. Who doesn't want to earn an extra bunch of dollars? Even if it is a thin bunch to start of.

After I joined, I started with one or two blurbs which contained some cricket videos and few bookmarks. Then I was off for three four days and when I came back, just out of curiosity checked how my adsense is doing. To say the least, I was disappointed, it was showing $0.00. I gave up the idea of rewards and moved to XombaBytes to see what they are. I found that really interesting although not probably rewarding. I tried to write a couple of bytes and this was the first time I wrote in my life. Now that was really REWARDING. I started to do something which I never thought of doing. Writing was never ever in my hobby list and to be honest after I wrote for the first time, I really felt like writing again.

I was busy again for few more days and didn't get a chance to come to Xomba, but yesterday I had some time and an idea came to my mind which actually set my Adsense meter running. I posted quite a few hot topics as Xombablurb and got good response.

So I am pretty happy member now – Trying to add bits and pieces in dollars by posting blurbs and occasionally trying to pen down some novice bytes.
