From Training Remaining from Catholic Upbringing
posted January 24, 2007 - 12:18pmYes, I was born and raised Catholic; I'll raise any kids I father 'Catholic' as well, because–though my father used me (along with the rest of his 'relationship' with my
mother) to violate the Catholic code–I review it and see the reason behind it.<

Part of that code involved a secret-Catholic practice of speedy marriage. Speedy marriage happens because Catholic-boys and -girls are to believe that man and woman cannot 'know each other' until after marriage (and the boys and girls themselves would stand as proof against that if it weren't for fast marriage ... otherwise known as the "shotgun wedding.")
In today's society, there is a slight "return to nature"—women more often acting as "public mothers," with semi-random men collectively providing for them.
But–as entrained by the Kingly practices of Catholicism–I would rather have one breeding-Queen than a harem full of breeding-girls. A man's breeding-Queen–any woman who's had a child of his–is effectively 'marked' by the man ... yes, as if his 'property' (looking at it from a strict 'ownership'-standpoint).
That is why I don't go for mothers; because they've been 'marked' as the 'property' of another man. Don't get me wrong; I'll 'write poetry to any attractive librarian in the grown-up bookstore,' but words directly indicating previous motherhood (e.g. "My daughter's only 4 years younger than you," etc.) turn the "cold shower" on full-blast.
