Funky hair trends are real popular right now. One of the cutest hair trends I have seen this year is girls wearing cool updos with a bandana. Wearing a bandana is great for someone who doesn't have time for their hair or for fun. You can wear a bandana in your hair and be sexy, sophisticated or casual. You can even wear a bandana for your prom or wedding hairstyle. Not only will this be unique and original, but fun as well.

If you are a prom girl or bride who wants to be different a bandana would work out great. If you search online you can find some really beautiful bandanas. Some of the bandanas will have sequins, rhinestones, lace, different patterns, ruffles on the edge, and even pearls. You can add one of these pretty bandanas to an upswept with curls with bandana wrapped in front, flowing curls and bandana placed like a headband, ponytail with bandana wrapped around the whole head, bandana wrapped around a knot or bun, sleek and straight, or big barrel curls all over head with bandana in front.

There are so many different ways you can wear a bandana to a wedding or prom that would look classy and cool. It all depends on your patience, time, imagination, and of course your creativity level.

If you have a little creativity you can even make your own bandana to match your prom dress or wedding gown. All you have to do is buy a plain color bandana and glue accessories onto it. For instance; if you are wearing a magenta prom gown I would buy a plain white silk bandana and add magenta and white rhinestones, crystals, and sequins to it. The magenta on top of the white would stand out beautifully.
