The first time I watched this video, I thought this man was crazy. But... Is that true?? Is this how we, Spanish speakers, are supposed to speak?? Really? :-)

I've watched it again and noticed he says some Spanish words from time to time, like:

- televisión (TV)

- cerveza (beer)

- calle (street)

- Madrid

- pesetas

- niña (little girl)

- Barcelona

- España (Spain)

- Internet (Although the way this man pronounces "internet" sounds to me "internete"... Italian??

- pregunta (question)

- banana

- plátano (banana) (That's the way we say 'banana' in Spain)

- palmas (palms)

- Palma de Mallorca (Definitely he's not a Spanish native!)

- gracias (thank you)

- naramaja (orange)

And the final ones are:

- Muchas gracias (Thank you very much)

Enjoy!

Hey, but you don't need this words to have a conversation!:-)

ph, no! Those are just...

some words learnt by a beginner Spanish student! :-)

In fact, I think he's jut trying to imitate us, Spanish speakers! :-)

By the way, here, we also say Italian speakers talk to fast! Have you ever heard it?

Bye!

My husband...

... says that, but I think: we have too many vowels in the words and it sounds just fast, but it isn't!

Oh, maybe...

it is just a question of accent, as, although Spanish is also spoken in Argentina or Mexico, if it reall hard for me to undesrtand them because they sometimes speak soooo fast! :-)

Listening...

It is just like music: you have to listen well and often, if you want to understand something.

Yes!

What a nice comparison, Antonella!

And it's true, it is a question on listening.
