Gators vs Razorbacks

Today it is on! The Gators are back and itching for their 6 SEC Championship in the modern era (since they instituted a championship game in 1990). Can they win? Can they win big? Does a bear do his business in the woods? Is the Pope Catholic? Ok strike that
last one since the pope now in bed with Islam. Of course they can and will. Why? Because they have to. Urban Meyer has to prove his spread offense can dominate the SEC. Meyer has to prove he is as good as Saint Spurrier to the University of Florida alumni. Chris Leak, QB, has to prove he can play with the big boys in the big game. Tim Tebow, QB, has to prove he is ready to run this team next year. Deshawn Winn, RB, has to prove he is a good running back. Dallas Baker, WR, has to prove he can play in the NFL. Percy Harvin, WR?, has to prove he is our next star. A lot of motivation there and that is just on offense. Charlie Strong, Co-Defensive Coordinator, needs to prove to Meyer he belongs in this system. The entire defense has to prove they can dominate a game. Reggie (The Eliminator) Nelson, DB, will show the world he is the best safety in the college game.
What does the University of Arkansas have? They are 0-2 in the SEC Championship game, one of those to University of Florida in 1995, 34-3 . But they were never expected to win it. They aren't even an original SEC team, they joined in 1992. So no bloodthristy rivalary there...yet. Will Coach Nutt (yes that is his name) be fired if he doesn't win? No way. Fair or unfair, if Coach Meyer loses the talking will start. Any coaching legends that are casting long shadows at University of Arkansas? No. Meyer has Spurrier to overcome. The have no National Championship hopes ranked at #8. The Gators do even if it is a slim one. Arkansas has nothing, no incentive.
In my opinion the biggest thing to look for today is the Razorback running game against the Gator run defense. Both are good but I think the Gator defense is better only yeilding 69.7 yards a game. Yes I know Arkansas is getting over 230 a game but they can't throw. The Gators will key in on the run and that will be that. Nelson will be there if and when Arkansas trys to throw it. Florida will run and will throw it. Leak and Tebow might have very big days if they get ahead early and make the Razorbacks throw.
Gators win 28-7.
