It states right in the scriptures that God hates adultery, liars and homosexuals... To say God made homosexuals is like saying God made liars, and He made adulterers. He loves us, but He hates the act. You must remember He is Holy and hates all sin. Your title confuses me in so much that a marriage is a religiously based union recognized by the state. Isn't it? What I find difficult in your statement about God and homosexuals... First I must assume you are speaking about God the father of Christ. If you are, then what I am saying about this part relates to that. If you are citing any other man made "god" then I can not relate. Yes, God made man. And God provided rules (10 commandments) These rules reflect absolute truths. 1-4 pertain to mans' relationship with God and 6-10 pertain to mans' relationship with others. God did not design and promote homosexuality. He clearly taught against it. God does not abide sin. A similar ideation might be: Man made the gun. And man made rules (laws) about the use of the gun. Man did not make men who use their guns illegally. Justice (men who enforce the laws) will not abide injustice. Homosexuals (& other sinners who do not want to repent) get mad at God in the same way criminals get mad at the law. God does not pit himself against men, in the same way that the laws of society are not pitted against men. See, God loves us all regardless of what we have done and patiently waits for us to repent of our ways and come to him. He does not force us to himself. God's laws (10 commandments) were not meant for men to be able to follow but instead to reflect the deep need for God's forgiveness as we are all sinners in that we all fall short of God's laws. That is why Christ died on the cross. To become the permanent sacrifice that covers our sins and allows us forgiveness. Flamboyancy is not necessarily the problem. Gay sexually based interactions are. Kissing, touching, etc. Especially as it starts to cross over into television and is piped into my living room. If I were at a party with an openly gay couple, showing openly gay affections for one another, I would avoid the area where they are. I would never attack them, unless of course this inappropriate behavior were at "My Party". But if I were at some party and if it were not possible to be away from them while they were "making out" or holding hands or what-ever then I would just leave. "Closed Mindedness" and "Getting Over It" are the pomp and circumstance of the New World Order. You can trumpet these calls to the masses just like Oprah and all together a one world religion shall be formed. Who will take the head of the one world religion? Satan. The end is clearly written in the bible and it has been unfolding in our world before, during and after our time. The changing climate of society does not scare me as I will seek shelter in my Lord and Savior. Nothing that happens to me will ever break my faith in Christ.
