George McGovern, who was one of Hillary Clinton's earliest and most prominent supporters, has now called on her to quit the Democratic race.

But Hillary Clinton told a college this morning rally that she had no intention of bowing out. She was speaking at Shepherd University in West Virginia, which holds its state presidential primary next Tuesday.

Clinton said the campaign should continue despite Sen. Barack Obama with a strong position. Clinton was forced to lend her campaign $6.4 million in the last month as her hopes fade.

McGovern said he told her husband Bill Clinton today that he would now support Obama.
