Georgia County Schools Shut Down

Georgia County Schools Shut Down

Atlanta students from at least 10 counties can expect at least a few days off school after savage downpours have flooded many areas and rendered streets impassable. Counties affected by the school closures include, but are not limited too; Atlanta, Cobb, Carroll, DeKalb, Douglas, Forsyth, Fulton, Gwinnett, Marietta and Paulding.
Ironically, it was Georgians who found themselves at the center of news because they faced a crippling drought, not so long ago.
For further updates on school closures, visit the Weather Channel or local Atlanta news casts.

I remember...

I remember when they were under a drought.  I have a sister that lives in Cobb county and a very good friend too, as I lived there for several years before moving back to Arkansas.  Good work on this short piece.  You said a lot in just a few words.

Thanks for posting.
