Anand Vs Kramnik for World Chess Championship Crown 2008 - This is the big one. The World Chess Championship between the defending champion Viswanathan Anand from India and the challenger Vladimir Kramnik from Russia takes place in Bonn, Germany starting on 14th October 2008.
The match will be played over 12 games at time control of 120 minutes for the first 40 moves, 60 minutes for the next 20 moves and then 15 minutes for the rest of the game plus an additional 30 seconds per move (from move 61 onwards).
Promises to be a treat for chess fans all over the world.
