Giants Fact or Fiction?

I always thought it strange that you can ask people about stories in the Bible and no one knows any, but everyone knows about the fight between David and Goliath.
The reason for this is God told David that the whole world will know the story.
God also said in the end times there would be signs and wonders (Proof), Giants of India Fact or Fiction? You tell me.

At least one of the articles this was taken from also states that the Brahma believed that these people were created to create/bring order. Later theses giants transgressed against the gods and they were destroyed by God Shiva. The last study I saw done on goliath was by a scietist named Carl Baugh and I beleive he said Goliath had to be over 13ft.tall and his spear was like a small phone poll. Can you imagine that and David at that time was just a boy but had already killed a lion and a bear with his hands. James & Sherry Grimes

How tall were people during David's time?

It is pretty common knowledge that people have been growing taller with each generation, so I'm curious about what the Bible or archaeologists have to say about the average height of the Israelites around David's time. I am curious because of comparisons. To someone who is 5'1", another person who is 7' is going to seem huge.
