Girls Go Tech: Girl Scouts Seeks to Spark Interest in Science and Technology

Since math, science and technology are all around us, it only makes sense to get half the country's population (the one with the two X chromosomes) interested and involved in these fields. That's the goal of Girls Go Tech, a new effort by the Girl Scouts of the U.S.A.

The Web site www.girlsgotech.org includes insights on science and how it fits into every aspect of our world, information on science careers, and some fun science games.

especially when it's on the internet as games and puzzles. I'm wondering how my love of Science and dislike of Math might have been different if I grew up with the internet...
