Global Real Time Carbon Emission Simulator

Global Real Time Carbon Emission Simulator

This is a cool website which features a real time simulation of the global carbon emission rates on a country to country basis. It tracks global population growth as well.

Though global carbon emissions should be tracked ideally on a per capita basis, still this site is a good pointer to the world's most polluting countries.

However, there is a catch. For example, Canada is one of the world's highest polluters with a per Capita carbon emission of 20 Metric Tonnes in 2004 and India being one of the lowest at 1.2 Metric Tonnes, but India will show as a bigger polluter because of its huge population.

Pretty cool site.
