GM Looking Into Making Cars That Drive Themselves

General Motors is looking into making cars that could drive themselves and even park at their destinations. The cars could be ready for sale by the year 2018. The biggest problems that stand in the way of making the cars are government regulations, liability laws, and privacy concerns.

Automated vehicles could reduce the number of car collisions and reduce traffic jams. GM plans to use a computer chip and an antenna to link vehicles that have the driverless technology.

That's True

It would be nice and save people a lot of money if cars didn't need so many repairs and it would make cars a lot more affordable. Get the latest and most interesting news in the nation and the world: http://www.mediatoken.blogspot.com/

GM should make cars that repair themselves

Oops, did I say that out loud? For all of the "innovations" that the Big 3 automakers publicize, why do we still have cars that don't last more than five years of normal driving before needing major mechanical work? I believe that they should rely less on their spare and aftermarket parts divisions for revenue and more on designing safe, environmentally-friendly cars that people actually want to buy by choice (as opposed to not having another choice to buy).
