When I was a youngling, new to the world and its joys, my brother turned to me and told me what he would be when he grew up. He was, naturally, going to be a soldier and a hero, and fight to protect me and the whole family. Lights on, eyes watching, front and center stage. Sure sounds like a big moment. And for most people, there are few more nerve-racking situations than having all eyes on you. But if you are an entertainer, or a “showman,” front and center stage is your arena. And for a reserved guy like me, being a showman is my “dream job.”

Tiffany's Dream

Tiffany walked through the heavy double doors of the studio, took off her stylish designer coat, and slung it over her arm as she walked toward her dressing room. She took a moment to relish the sight of her name, fastened to the door for all the building to see in purple glittery letters. As she lifted an elegant hand to run her long manicured fingers over the raised letters of her name, a Cartier gold watch glittered in the glow of the fluorescent lights in the hallway.
