Goals.

Goals.

What goals? This year:

Goal 1: Support Hansen's Carbon Tax with 100% monthly return of tax to American Citizens through deposits directly into their bank accounts; as a per-capita pro-rated deposit dividend to all citizens limiting the dividend to individuals, parents and maximum half-share to each of 2 children. (No "income tax" would be paid for this tax return to citizens.)

Goal 2. Continue to work to stop anthropogenic global warming (AGW) by a moratorium on erection of any more Coal Power Plants, and immediate application of Coal Carbon Sequestration technology (where it has been developed or when) to existing CO2 emission producing plants, while carbon taxing those plants for unconstrained emission production. (This double taxation (at the mine and at the emissions point for unsequestered CO2 from coal is for a good cause. Life on Earth) Carbon tax is evaluated and increased annually; revenue is returned to the citizen, as a part of the “stimulus” but separate.)

Goal 3. Promote recognizing that global warming is NOT the euphemistic "Climate Change" politicians and big carbon or deniers want to utter since those adding the heat poison of fossil fueled CO2 want to call it something that points away from their part -- that is, to absolve them from their part in it and responsibility for it. (This climate danger is ALL man-made.)

Goal 4. Support all means of promoting non-fossil fuel power sources, including direct solar (thermal and PV, diffuse and focused) wind, geothermal, hydrogen, bio-fuel liquids or gases to replace transportation fossil fuels, OTEC, wave and tidal, Mediterranean-Atlantic/Gibraltar current exploitation.

Goal 5. Support immediate building of 4-th generation nuclear power plants, including both the Integral Fast Reactor (IFR), and Liquid-Fluoride Thorium Reactor (LFTR) designed to consume the waste products of Light Water Reactors (LWR). Cease development of Yucca Mountain as a long-term radioactive waste storage facility, and use it as a facility for short-term storage of the reduced quantities of short half-life residuals that will come from IFR and LFTR power production facilities.

Goal 6. Continue downscale of Tokamak (ITER) involvement and instead of ITER, crash research ($1 billion funding each) in promising scalable fusion processes beginning with the one already farthest along: Inertial Electrostatic Confinement,(IEF) Proton Boron-11 process the late Robert Bussard (pB11) was working toward. (Google: small scale fusion Bussard) The Bussard approach, with appropriately scaled technology may in the future power humanity around the solar system.

as well as $1 billion funding http://www.physicsessays.com/doc/s2005/John_Slough-Final.pdf , in the FRC-CB approach

and potentially the focus fusion process as per Eric Lerner, with Dense Plasma Focus

Dr. Steven Chu is likely aware of all these approaches.

Goal 7. Encourage GM to enter the manufacture of Automotive Home Charging Devices such as solar concentrating collectors and Stirling engines to be combined to furnish both grid and automotive power. GM/Chrysler/Ford should also be encouraged to develop solar energy storage systems – such as house scale compressed air technologies and hydrogen via hydrolysis for fuel cell automotive approaches, or hydrogen combustion..

Goal 8. Pursue Environmental Conspiracy Laws against the fossil carbon lobby and companies.
