God IS Dog Spelled Backwards

God IS Dog Spelled Backwards

On a typical Saturday morning I accompanied my dad to the DMV to renew his driver's license. On a Saturday it was crowed as usual. We waited our turn in line which moved rather quickly considering the crowd.

People watcher that I am I usually scan the room to check the vibe, or different people's aura. Nothing jumped out at me so I continued to look around as we sat there waiting for his number to be called.

Then I noticed this fellow at first his back was turned to me so I couldn't get a good read on him. He was wearing a black Tee Shirt and blue jeans. I guess I missed him when he first came in, because when I saw him he was standing at the counter. For some reason this creature had my attention, and I was dying inside for him to turn around so I could get a good look at.

He must have felt my eyes piercing through his back because at that moment he turned all the way around. My eyebrows stood straight up as I read his Tee shirt "God is Dog spelled backward". Of course I had a knee jerk reaction, I said ok he must be an Atheist. Then I thought naw if he was an atheist he wouldn't acknowledge there is a God by wearing the shirt.

Here I am sorting through his reasons for wearing the shirt. Then I thought, he's an attention seeker, no one would wear a statement such as that without wanting attention.

So what God is dog spelled backwards, was he just pointing this out to let the whole world know; or does he think God is a dog?

Should Have Known

that all I needed to do was pray backwards to a dog. Been doing it wrong all these years.
