Google or Wikipedia?

Google or Wikipedia?

My friends and I at work the other day had an argument. When you don't know the answer to something, do you google it or wikipedia it?
Now, I said for most situations, I'll simply google it. However, there are reasons for wanting to wikipedia something immediately instead. Such examples of this would be historical information, or information regarding a specific chemical, person, or place. Wikipedia typically has most of the information that might be sought out after when it comes to something concrete.
However, a simple search on Google will also typically allow you to find exactly what you wanted to learn. So the end result of the argument resulted in our agreeing that while Wikipedia is up and coming, and is being improved daily, google is still our first and foremost choice for finding information.
