Google Testing a Social Network for its iGoogle Start Page

Google has reportedly been quietly testing a number of social networking features for iGoogle, the company's personalized start page. On iGoogle users can use widgets to personalize the page with news, sports, weather, and other features, including Google features such as their Gmail and AdSense account info.
