Varalakshmi daughter of noted actor and president of South India film artistes association, Sarath kumar, is making her foray in Kollywood having done her masters in business management (MBA) from Edinburgh university and formal exposure to acting in the acclaimed Anupam kher school of acting at Mumbai.< p>

Varalaxmi, the gorgeous damsel is all set to begin her journey in tinsel town with Poda Podi produced by Shanaya Tele films Pvt Ltd that churned out mega hit films like Champion , Supari Etc.. Coming from the family of illustrious achievers in film field, Varalakshmi plays a meaty role that provides her a right avenue to showcase all her talents. Well versed in salsa and ballet she was flooded with several offers. However she chose to make her debut with podapodi, which she feels would be a perfect appetite for her various skills. Beginning her journey with the blessings of Srimathi R Radhika Sarathkumar and Sarath kumar.

Silambarasan, the lead star of " Poda Podi " along with director Vigeshsiva has altered the script on decision to be film the entire film in Canada. Varoo with her debut film is all set to create expectations as she is keen to scale up to greater heights.
