Why do all women talk so much?
There are some startling statistics that do not need any scientific scrutiny. I can quote them off the top of my head: Women talk twice as much as men.
I wonder why? They can find all types of stuff to talk about with each other. It only happens in opposite sex relationships if they think the nature of the relation is platonic. It does not matter whether you are a friend or a 'little brother' the talking can be quite lengthy. The only time the cease to talk is when they are looking for something they don't want the bad boy, the freaky experience, the one-night stand, the cheat or the affair all leads to certain level of female silence during but they do have the ability to switch right back to mode if the environment also shifts to accomodate.
And in the cycle of life where women move from the babbling babes and toddlers to the talkative-two year old and mouthy teenager to the wild and wacky 20s maybe 30s and full cirlce to the mother with "don't do this" or "don't do that" or "be careful" and "I love you", but right to the 'grande finale' and to what every girl wants the wife.
This one takes the cake. You want proof of the stats. I'll give you a brief illustration. A wife spends 1 and one half hours on the phone catching up with a girlfriend (while the husband tries to catch up on some work or TV, but he can't he must be somehow present still unless its an emergency) when she comes off the message she has to tell her husband all about it!
Need I say more?
I've heard it attributed to our cave men ancestors that the men went hunting, a task which required stealth, single task focus, and quiet, while the women gathered berries, took care of the children, and talked to each other while they did it.
Men's wiring became single-task focused and less prone to talking for the sake of talking. Women's wiring became more talkative, feeling-oriented, and multi-tasking capable. There are exceptions to each, of course, but this is the norm amongst the sexes.
Speaking in a general sense, and acknowledging statistics of a particular group are one thing. But words like "all" and "every" can get you into trouble quick!
Every human being is a bit different. And, statistics don't measure every man or woman on the planet. There are many women who do not talk very much, prefer to be alone, live in a culture where they aren't allowed to talk very much, etc. Likewise, there are men that just won't shut-up!
Furthermore, not every woman wants to be a wife, as you stated every woman does. There are many, the number has been growing actually, who do not. I myself am not big on the idea of going through that again, and I wasn't terribly thrilled about the idea of going through it the first time, if I'm being honest.

...since there is always an exception to the rule.
Some women long for this, some don't. So you are a woman who does not want to be a wife, again. That's so true. I do know some women that are actually quiet and do not prefer too much talking only with familiar people. Are you a talkative woman?
But if you can, tell me what scared you the first time that you weren't so thrilled?
