December 3, 2007, - After the 27th Legislature of the Virgin Islands delivered their knock down punch to Governor DeJongh by not confirming, Dr. Lynn Spampinato for Education Commissioner; many were wondering where is the Governor?

On Friday, November 30, 2007, in a press conference from Government House in St. Thomas, Governor DeJongh spoke to the people of the Virgin Islands and calmed their rising fears.

Virgin Islanders were being burdened with the worry of rising fees being placed on their shoulders all at once, expenses that many would not be able to bear.
