Governor Mark Sanford disappeared for 7 days. He has admitted that he flew to Argentina to see a woman there. He had been having an affair with the woman. He said he will resign as the head fo the Republican Governors Association.

He said he had been friends with the woman for more than 8 years. It only became romantic about a year ago. He said his wife found about about his affair about five months ago.
