Granny Cult Leader Arrested
posted January 13, 2007 - 3:59amThis just cracked me up! Apparently an 85 year old grandmother and revered religious sect leader to a group of twenty-six people, called the Piecemakers, was arrested for continuing refusal to allow health inspectors into her country store/restaurant.
After many violations of selling unsealed and unpackaged foods without a permit from the county of location, a court order had to be obtained by Health Inspectors just to get in and do there job. However, they were met still, with great resistance from the Granny and two other members who actually wrestled with the accompanying police officers and Granny cursed up a blue streak in the process, shocking the inspectors and officers.
So....this sect leader, who states God's law is above man's law and she only follows God, and her followers seem to have a stubborn bone about following the laws regulating food services and curse like sailors to boot (Does God curse up a blue streak? Would he fight with honorable officers or would he just cooperate peacefully?)! Can anyone say Hypocrite?
