Great Pink Gifts For Christmas: Support Breast Cancer Research

It's that time of the year when everyone is shopping for the perfect Christmas gift, stocking-stuffer or secret Santa gift for the office Christmas party. This is also the time when people are in the giving mood and helping out with charities for those in need.< p>

What if you could combine both great gift giving AND helping others? Well, if you know someone who likes the color pink, or are looking for a gift for a breast cancer survivor or family member there are some excellent gift items and great stocking-stuffers that donate a portion of their sales to Breast Cancer research, so not only can you give a perfect gift, you can feel good knowing that a portion of what you spent will go to help fund research into one of the leading causes of death for women in the United States, Breast Cancer.

For anyone who loves the Care Bears and a great gift for baby's first Christmas, Care Bears Pink Power Bear, a limited edition Care Bear which also comes with a special "Show You Care" bracelet. As with all of the products listed here a portion of the proceeds from the sale of this adorable bear is donated to Breast Cancer Research.

If you liked the Care Bear, how about the Ty Beanie Baby Breast Cancer Bear? These are cute and inexpensive and almost SOLD OUT!!

Here's something a little more practical. The Power of Pink Conair CS3B Ceramic 1" Straightener and/or the Power of Pink Conair 204P Ionic Dryer, both part of Conair's line of pink hair care appliances that support Breast Cancer research through sales.

This is a bit more expensive, but, aside from the Care Bear, is my favorite of the lot. The Susan G. Komen Nintendo DS Lite is sure to be a hit with any video gamer on your Christmas gift list!

There are also plenty of small and inexpensive stocking-stuffer items designed for breast cancer awareness. Everything from Pink Post It Breast Cancer Awareness Notepads with the Breast Cancer ribbon design, to Bicycle Pink Breast Cancer Ribbon Playing Cards, to the GUESS 2008 Susan G. Komen for the Cure Watch with pink leather band.

So, consider giving a gift or two that will not only be well received but will also help in research to find a cure for breast cancer and raise awareness of this deadly cancer that has affected so many households through thoughtful gift-giving.

Have a very happy holiday season!
